The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, located in the beautiful Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. Every year thousands of devotees undertake this divine journey to seek blessings, spiritual peace, and a deeper connection with God. The Char Dham includes four holy temples dedicated to different deities and is considered a path toward spiritual liberation.

The second stop is Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. According to Hindu beliefs, Goddess Ganga descended to Earth at this sacred place. The temple is located along the banks of the Bhagirathi River and offers a peaceful and divine atmosphere.
The third and most challenging destination is Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Situated at an altitude of about 3,583 meters in the Himalayas, Kedarnath is surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Devotees reach the temple by a trek from Gaurikund, although helicopter services are also available.
The final destination is Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Located between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges along the Alaknanda River, the temple is one of the most important Vishnu shrines in India. Pilgrims also visit nearby places like Mana Village, Tapt Kund, and Vasudhara Falls.
The best time to undertake the Char Dham Yatra is between May and October, when the temples remain open. During winter, the temples close due to heavy snowfall and the deities are moved to nearby winter temples.
